L&PS Rolling Stock - Boxcars No 2 - 5
The L&PS operated a variety of boxcars over the years. All were purchased used from the nearby steam lines and none were in good enough condition for interchange service. They were given a confusing array of overlapping numbers which makes identification difficult, but it appears in the 1920's they owned four boxcars numbered 2 through 5. These cars were typical 36 foot wood sheathed boxcars with wooden frames supported by trussrods and needlebeams. Trucks were standard archbar type on 33 inch wheels.
